A family story
On the strength of its history and its century-old experience, the artisanal and family business CONSERVES GUINTRAND, founded in Caromb in 1898 and based in Carpentras since 1911, welcomes the arrival of Jean-Christophe, great-great-grandson of its founder Paul Guintrand. Two generations of this family of canners now work together in the processing of fresh and ripe fruits and vegetables from Provence and therefore in the production of quality preserves, renowned for their exceptional flavors for more than a century with a clientele of professionals. Quality has been an invariable objective of the company since its creation.

An ancestral know-how
For the first time, in 2020, CONSERVES GUINTRAND, the oldest cannery in Carpentras (in operation since 1898), was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label.
This “EPV” label is a mark of recognition from the State, set up to distinguish French companies with artisanal and industrial know-how of excellence. These labeled houses are characterized by a sometimes centuries-old history and heritage, capacities for innovation and rare know-how which have contributed to establishing their notoriety in the French entrepreneurial fabric. This label is awarded by the Minister of Economy and Finance and Recovery.

More innovation
Conserves Guintrand innovates again! The company launches new products by transforming fruits and cereals grown in its regional cradle:
the "strawberry from Carpentras" and "the little spelled from Mont Ventoux". In compote or jam for strawberries, in “ready-to-eat” recipes for small spelled, jars now complete its range of fruit desserts from Provence as well as that of “cooked from the South”.
It is for fifteen years that the Guintrand company has developed, in particular for export, under its brand "P. Guintrand" (from the name of its founder) sweet and savory recipes, in jars, intended for consumers that can now be found in many delicatessens in France and abroad, from Canada to Japan via Europe and even China.

A loyal clientele for more than 125 years
Bakers, pastry chefs, jam makers, restaurateurs, some of whom are Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (MOF), wholesalers, specialist grocery outlets... all of them trust, year after year, in the quality of the products of this very old cannery which remains faithful to its original values.
