Prax viel est un diamant des Corbières ; un domaine complexe composé de plusieurs activités : vignoble, élevage, maisons de vacances etc. Il est situé dans le sud de la France, dans l'un des plus beaux villages de France, appelé Lagrasse. Il se situe entre la mer Méditerranée et la célèbre cité médiévale de Carcassonne.
Pendant la douloureuse pandémie de Covid 19, nous avons décidé de déménager dans le sud de la France, de quitter la vie citadine que nous avions vécue, pour rechercher le soleil, la mer méditerranée, l'odeur du romarin, la douce des figues et bien sûr les bons vins. Après de longues recherches, nous avons finalement trouvé le domaine de Prax Viel, vigne au milieu des Corbières, célèbre région viticole du pays cathare. Nous avons immédiatement décidé de réaliser notre "rêve de vigneron" ici à Prax Viel.
Le vin pour nous, c'est un art. L'art de la couleur, de l'odorat, du goût, des accords mets-vins... Lorsque nous élaborons notre vin, nous voulons que notre vin ait de la structure. Boire le vin aime profiter de l'art, qui impressionne au début, suivi de détente et de confort, donne une douceur à la fin.
Nous espérons que notre vin est élégant et beau. Notre vin décorera la table. Nous travaillons dur non seulement sur le vin lui-même mais aussi sur la bouteille. Chaque étiquette est conçue par des artistes, inspirés de l'art-nouveau, pour mêler l'art de l'effet visuel à l'art de la vinification.

Prax viel is a diamond in the Corbières; a complexe domaine consisting of multi activities : vineyard, animal farming, holiday houses etc. It is located in South France, in one of the most beautiful villages of France, called Lagrasse. It is between the Mediterranean Sea and the famous medieval city Carcassonne.
During the painful pandemic of Covid 19, we determined to move to the south of France, to quit the city life that we had been living and getting tired of, to pursuit the sunshine of the mediterranean sea, the smell of the rosemary, the sweet of the figs and of course the good wines. After long time of search, we finally found domaine de Prax Viel, a vineyard in the middle of Corbières, a famous wine area in cathar’s land. We determined immediately to realise our "wine dream" here in Prax Viel.
Wine for us, is an art. The art of color, of the smell, of the taste, of pairing the food... When we make our wine, we want our wine to have structure. Drinking the wine likes enjoying the art, which impresses and shocks at the beginning, followed by relax and comfort, finally gives a douceur of aftertaste.
We hope our wine is elegant and beautiful. We don't need the table to be decorated for the meal, our wine will decorate the table. The reason we work hard not only on wine itself but also on the bottle. Each label is designed by artists, inspired from the art-nouveau, to mix the art of the visual effect with the art of the winemaking.
