Brasserie De katsbier is located in the heart of the Monts de Flandre, in the town of Méteren. It takes its name from the contraction of “Katsberg” and “Bier”, respectively meaning Mont des Cats and Beer in Dutch. Why this name? Simply because the brewery is located at the foot of the Mont des Cats, in the Houblonnière business area (exit 1 2 A25), located between the hops of Méteren and the Mont des Cats.
