Le Ch’ti Génépi is an adventure that Tiphaine and Sylvain embarked on in February 2022, between old spirit-loving friends that they are. “We make our genepi liqueurs in the Hauts-de-France, in Camphin-en-Carembault, with the idea of highlighting our Mining Basin and its many slag heaps. Yes, they have a Mont-Blanc, but we have black mountains! »
Two recipes are then proposed. The first is that of the Hautes-Alpes, secular, original. In the second, blond vergeoise replaces white sugar, and allows the product to be completely revisited, giving it warm notes of brioche and caramel.
Apart from the plant, naturally grown and harvested at very high altitudes in the Chorges Valley, all the ingredients and components come from Hauts-de-France.
The plant comes from the high mountains, the fresh air of our slag heaps.
