Ubac is the symbol of a preserved and still wild nature that we must take care of. He aspires to a feeling of freedom and protection that high mountain landscapes can provide. Ubac was created by Mathilde BLETTERY and Simon NICOLAS, a couple of committed entrepreneurs from Auvergne. This is how the 1st French brand was born to offer a range of sneakers and accessories (hats, sweaters etc.) from natural & recycled materials (wool and hemp). The recycled wool used at Ubac comes from wool sweaters from French and European Relais Clothing terminals. These sweaters are then sorted by color. Thus, there is no need to re-dye the wool. They are then shredded to be upgraded by a unique and patented process.
