WELCOME TO OTXANGOA!
Based in the Basque Country, between ocean and mountains, we design and develop clothing inspired by the art of living in the Basque Country for outdoor sports, water activities such as sailing or land activities such as hiking.
All designs meet your needs with special attention. We develop and create products that combine design, innovation and respect for the environment. These are the values that carry the Otxangoa concept. The objective is to demonstrate that we can consume better while producing differently. Each creation is born from the expertise of Nelly Fontaine, who has been at the service of various sportswear brands for many years. This know-how is accompanied by that of our French partner craftsmen who have all been chosen as part of our ethical and eco-responsible approach.
Otxangoa's flagship creation is the recycled espadrille. This typical summer shoe from the Basque Country has the Otxangoa touch. Each pair comes from jeans collected by our teams and transformed by Basque craftsmen. They are made in Mauléon, the capital of the traditional espadrille.
We have also declined it with the pair of customizable espadrille. Otxangoa has thus called on local artists to artistically personalize the espadrilles of our customers. Each of these artists has their own style and unique universe. You will be able to appreciate the art directly from your shoes.
