La Museuse was born from the desire of its creator, Amélie, to have pretty printed cotton bags, which we can roll and take everywhere: for shopping, the beach, weekends on the go ...
From there developed a collection of bags, tote bags, clutch bags, scarves and clothing, accessories to your outings and made in France.
The choice of Made in France was obvious:
- In order to defend employment and promote French know-how,
- Manufacturing in France means promoting the short circuit, therefore reducing its carbon footprint.
Fan of beautiful fabrics, she has selected high quality textiles, mainly European (Liberty of London cottons, Danish oilcloths, French cotton and Swedish cottons, Dutch wax ...) but also Japanese (indigo handcrafted cottons) and Indonesian (batiks).
The bags are made in a partner workshop in Normandy, the pouches, scarves and clothing are made in ESATs (work centers for the disabled) in the Yvelines (78) region, to promote the integration of people in difficulty.
